About Me
I'm a final year PhD student at the University of Southern California's (USC) Information Sciences Institute (ISI), co-advised by Jonathan May and Emilio Ferrara. My research lies in the intersection of natural language processing, planning and creativity. Specifically, I'm interested in modeling how humans execute complicated tasks, like writing news stories, in order to build AI systems that align better with our goals. Check out each of my research lenses:

Before that, I was a data scientist and journalist at the New York Times where I worked with Dr. Chris Wiggins. [Journalism].
Before that, I attended Juilliard School of Music and worked as a professional musician in off-Broadway productions including The Dybbuk and Spears: The Gospel According to Brittney. In my PhD, I organized charity concerts, including raising money for humanitarian aid for Ukraine. [Music Videos]
